Our team members are qualified and trained both internally and externally in domestic and international taxation planning and compliance. Each holds an accounting degree, a CPA certification or is a candidate, and some have obtained or are pursuing a Master’s degree in Taxation.

Eng Kuan Khoo, CPA

Eng, a California Certified Public Accountant, has over 30 years of experience in accounting, tax planning and compliance.

His practice areas include domestic and international tax planning and compliance for businesses and individuals. Eng has previously provided consultation and extensive services to businesses in the technology, entertainment, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, and service industries.

A specialty area of Eng’s practice is in cross-border tax planning for individuals and businesses; complex international tax filings and compliance for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.

Prior to forming Khoo & Company, Inc. in 2001, Eng served as a Tax Partner at Rowbotham & Company LLP in San Francisco; prior to that, he was with the International Tax Group of KPMG Peat Marwick.

Eng holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance at the University of San Francisco, and his Master of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University, San Francisco.

Eng is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California CPA Society.
